The 25kg sack is a proper investment but the yield is fantastic—one bag has lasted my family months of weekly bread baking. The stoneground texture gives a lovely rustic crumb that handles beautifully, even for sourdough.
The flour’s so finely stoneground that my sourdough loaves came out with a noticeably softer crumb than usual, and the 25kg sack has lasted me over two months of weekly baking. It’s got that nutty, earthy spelt taste my family keeps asking for.
Stoneground really makes a difference here — the texture has that slight grittiness that makes spelt loaves feel rustic and hearty. I've baked three sourdoughs from this sack already and the crust comes out beautifully crisp every time. Wish I'd discovered this flour sooner.
