Baking with this rye flour gives the bread a really deep, earthy flavour that's hard to find with standard supermarket stuff. The 25kg sack is a solid investment if you bake a lot, though you'll need a sturdy container to store it.
I was pleasantly surprised by how fine the stoneground texture is—it makes my sourdough starter incredibly active. Already baked two loaves and the crumb came out perfect with that classic earthy rye flavour.
The stoneground texture is noticeably coarser than regular rye flour, which gives my bread a better crumb structure. 25kg is a serious sack but perfect for someone who bakes multiple loaves a week.
