My sourdough loaves have never had such a beautiful open crumb, and you can really taste the wheaty depth in every slice. The stoneground texture is coarser than supermarket flour but gives the bread a lovely rustic bite. I've already gone through two bags just on pastry alone.
The nutty flavor really comes through in pastry, and the texture is finer than other wholemeals I’ve tried. My biscuits have that nice crumbly bite without being dense. I’ll be reordering this bag for sure.
